Premium group hire
Take over the restaurant, three bowling lanes, interactive darts and a private karaoke booth on Friday and Saturday nights. £250 hire plus a £500 minimum spend.
Full venue hire
Every lane, bar, booth, the restaurant and garden, all completely private. Ideal for weddings, company parties and milestone birthdays.
Group packages
Book lanes, booths and sharing food at one price per person. With a big enough group, you'll fill most of the venue.
Your own slice of Bowling House
Exclusive access to large sections of the venue for up to 100 guests, combining our restaurant with our most popular entertainment. Some areas stay open to the public, but your party takes over the vast majority of the venue, so the night belongs to you.

The minimum spend is easy to reach: any food or drink bought by you or your guests counts towards it, including a pre-ordered buffet. Our bar serves cocktails, craft beers, fine wines, ciders, and hot and cold drinks.

Exclusive use of our five boutique lanes, cocktail bar, karaoke and darts booths, restaurant and garden. Perfect for weddings, company parties and big birthdays, with canapé, sharing and buffet menus to suit.

Top tip: Sunday to Thursday dates in spring and summer offer the best value for a full buyout.
No hire fee, just one price per person
Our packages bundle activities, sharing food and drinks for groups of 6 or more. Bring a big crowd and you'll have most of the lanes and booths to yourselves.
Buffets, canapés & sharing feasts
Pre-order a buffet or canapés for your guests, and it all counts towards your minimum spend. Everything is made from scratch, with vegan, veggie and gluten free options.
The Lanes Comedy Club
Start with a show
Book your group into a comedy show upstairs, then carry on the party downstairs with bowling, karaoke and drinks. A night out sorted under one roof.

Will we have the venue completely to ourselves?
With premium group hire, you take over the vast majority of the venue: the restaurant, three lanes, the darts lane and a karaoke booth. Some areas stay open to the public. For a completely private event, choose full venue hire.
Can we change the timings of premium group hire?
No, sorry. Premium group hire runs at set times on Friday and Saturday nights, and that's what keeps the price low. If you need different timings or a completely private venue, full venue hire is the way to go.
What counts towards the minimum spend?
Any food or drink bought by you or your guests, including pre-ordered buffets and canapés.
Can we still hire the upstairs function room?
Not any more: it's now the home of The Lanes Comedy Club, running Wednesday to Sunday. Our premium group hire gives you more space for your guests, with entertainment included.
Can under 18s come to a private party?
For premium group hire, the venue is shared with the public, so our usual rule applies: under 18s are welcome until 8pm, and as the hire starts at 8pm it's for over 18s only. With a full venue buyout there's no general public, so under 18s are welcome throughout your event. For smaller family celebrations, take a look at our kids and family packages.
What's your cancellation policy?
For room and venue hire, we need at least 3 months' notice of cancellation. With less notice, no refunds or transfers can be given.
