Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

You can eat, drink, bowl and even sing. You can do these in whatever order you like, or even at the same time!

You don’t have to bowl in order to eat or drink and vice versa. As long as you have a good time.

What packages do you do?

If there are more than eight of you, we have some great packages combining eating, drinking and bowling. If there are only a few of you, you might want to check out our Monday prices, 3 for 2 Bowling (Sun-Thu) and Happy Hour Cocktails (Sun-Thu).

Is there parking on site?

The nearest car park is just over the road, it costs £1.80 p/h and has a flat rate of £2.20 in the evening. Here’s a link.

Do you have bumpers and ramps?

We have a limited amount of bumpers, plus ramps and lighter balls for those that need them. Let us know before you come down and we’ll have them ready for you.

Got any jobs going?

We’re always looking for good people, especially if you have experience making cocktails. Email your CV to bookings@bowlinghouse.co.uk.

Do we have to wear bowling shoes?

It’s safer if you do. Some trainers are okay to bowl in but really it’s part of the fun!

Is there a separate cost for shoe hire?

No but we may set fire to your shoes if they smell bad, we’ll blame health & safety.
