Upstairs Launches with Sold Out BINGO

Our new Upstairs Bar was launched on Saturday 2nd February with another SOLD OUT edition of BINGO BANGO BONGO.

The event was a predictably lively affair with Barry ‘Balls Up’ Bulsara bringing his own brand of entertainment to our new venue.

Feedback was incredible positive and the next BINGO BANGO BONGO is already full.

Upstairs at Bowling House

Here at Bowling House we’ve been working behind-the-scenes to make the most of our amazing building.

We’re really excited to open our new upstairs room, it’s a really beautiful space with high ceilings, art-deco windows and even a giant papier mache palm tree!

We’ve installed a new wooden floor and new bar with beer on-tap and all the facilities to deliver our favourite cocktails.

Over the next few months we’ll be hosting more of our popular Bingo nights as well as Karaoke, Music, Theatre and Comedy.

Come Bowling with Age UK

Age UK Norwich and Bowling House are launching a new scheme to help reduce isolation in older people.

 

A new 'Come Bowling' group is meeting once a month to have a go at ten-pin bowling and socialise in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

 

Age UK Norwich's Community Outreach Officer Cathy Eden said:

 

'We're delighted to be working together with The Bowling House to offer this activity for older people and we'd love to welcome some new members to join the fun. You don't have to be a bowling expert. It's all about trying something different, being active and having a go.'

 

Bowling House are offering a concessionary rate of £5.50 for two games including a cup or tea or coffee, There are bumpers, ramps, lighter balls and wheelchair access so that everyone can join in.

BINGO at Bowling House

BINGO, BANGO BONGO 

The legend that is Barry ‘Balls Up’ Bulsara made his first appearance at Bowling House for Bingo, Bango, Bongo - all the excitement of prize bingo, with a funky soundtrack and a few saucy surprises thrown in.

There were songs, shots of Fireball and even a chocolate digestive eating contest!

A good time was had by all and some fabulous prizes were won.
